~~~She will be missed so much.~~~
Welcome to Hazy Day Nubians, we are a small breeder of Dairy and Meat Goats just outside of Sussex, New Brunswick. Along with goats we also raise Indian Runner ducks, Meat King chickens, laying hens. Please enjoy your visit on our website! (Check back often for updates.)
As of the Spring 2008 kidding season, our herd is being raised on a CAE prevention. Also I will try to get all of our 2008 doelings tested for CAE, (to make sure I am doing it right.) (I feel CAE is becoming yet another problem in the goat breeders lives. CAE can be prevented by just taking a little extra time, & raising on prevention.)
Our herd is free of CL and it has NEVER been in our barn. Each goat twice a year (kidding & breeding season) gets a shot of Vitiman A & D along with a shot of selieiem.
Contact me if you are looking for bottle kids as I have a few each year (depending on milk supply.)
As of May 2, 2008 Hazy Day Dairy Goats are now proud to be selling our milk to Divine Soaps. Please visit __________________to view all their soaps.
This is one qoute I live by during kidding season, (Said by one of my mentors.)
"As we come into kidding season I will say over and over on forums, why not check for kids after she delivers? Why guess? Why not as she starts pushing, simply insert a few fingers and feel for hooves and front teeth? Why let her push and push and jam 1, 2 or 3 kids up against the cervic in mal positions you will then have to push back later? I just don't get why this is so scarry." ~Vicki McGaugh~ (www.lonesomedoe.com)
